Memorial Day felt like it snuck up on us, and we know July 4th isn039;t too far away. 🇺🇸 If you039;re thinking about a keg for your kegerator or a backyard party, we recommend ordering early and we039;ll have it waiting for you to pick up that weekend. So why do those hazy, juicy pale ales and IPAs we love look like this? 👆🤔 Hops are always added during the boil during brewing, which results in the more bitter qualities we perceive in hoppy beers. BUT! In hazy hoppy beers, hops are also added during fermentation - a process commonly known as dry-hopping. Dry-hopping boosts the aroma and flavor of the hops, and the modern hops that are popular in these beers naturally have tropical, citrusy, fruity notes. The polyphenols from the hops, the proteins from the malt, and the yeast work together to make that gorgeous, sunny haze.🍍🍊🥝 #themoreyouknow #neipa #hazyipa #craftbeer

Grabbing some brats and firing up the grill this weekend? Let039;s add some beer to the equation to make the tastiest, juiciest brats you039;ve ever had. Check out the recipe below and share it with your friends! 🌭❤️ #memorialday #beerbrats #cookingwithbeer --- INGREDIENTS • 10 uncooked bratwurst (pro-tip: buy from your local butcher) • 1 large onion, thinly sliced • 48 oz of beer (lager, IPA, stout...your choice!) • Brat buns (note: these are bigger and sturdier than hotdog buns) • Ketchup, mustard, relish, sauerkraut, & cooked onions, or whatever toppings you like! --- STEPS 1. Preheat your grill over medium-high heat. Oil the grates: dip a paper towel into some high-heat cooking oil such as vegetable or olive oil, and use an oven mitt or tongs to wipe the oil on the grates. Don039;t oversaturate the towel, use just enough oil to coat the grates. 2. In a large pot over medium-high heat, add brats, onion, and beer. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer about 10 to 12 minutes until brats are cooked (160F). Remove brats for grilling & let the onions continue to cook. 3. Grill brats, turning frequently, until browned - about 5-7 minutes. 4. Serve in brat buns with cooked onions and your other favorite toppings, crack a beer, and enjoy!
